2019 Nigerian General Election: Atiku wins at Sanwo-Olu’s polling unit

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has defeated the ruling All Progressives Congress at Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s polling unit.

The APC governorship candidate’s Femi Okunnu polling unit, Lateef Jakande, Ikoyi, Lagos couldn’t hold it down for President Muhammadu Buhari as his stiff rival Atiku defeated him with just a slight margin.

The PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, polled 52 votes to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, who got 48 votes. Punchng.com reports.

There have been reports of violence from many polling units across the nation and it was earlier reported that gunmen invaded a polling unit in Bonny Local Government, Rivers State, carting away ballot boxes after shooting sporadically in the air.
