Ghanaian music sensation, Stonebwoy has declared publicly that Afrobeat did originate from Ghana far away from how the world views it as a Nigerian root.

He disclosed this in his recent interview with Pulse where he detailed his view on the origin of Afrobeat and his displeasure with how the world ignores its root.

According to his claim, he outlined that people had often admired the Nigerian impact in the Afrobeat to the extent that they centre its root on the nation.

Despite that he admitted Nigeria as the country who has played a vital role in the current coup of Afrobeat, he feels it’s very wrong to credit only Nigeria.

When asked how he pictures Ghanaian Afrobeat success so far, the ‘Activate’ crooner publicly vowed that it’s still under the influence of the Nigerian glory.
