Bandit has abducted the village head of Banye in the Charanchi Local Government Area of Katsina State, Alhaji Bishir Gide Banye.
Several sources confirmed that Banye was kidnapped by unknown gunmen alongside a secondary school student.

According to Daily Trust, the heavily armed men on Friday night, October 15th invaded the palace of the village head and abducted Banye with other victims.
However, Banye couldn’t afford to alert to the security men as the armed men portrayed their act successfully with no challenge.
