The Arsenal Captain and top striker have stormed the top social media platforms as he shares a picture of his African tattoo condemning the killing in Nigeria and asked for peace.
According to him, he disclosed that Africa is his inspiration and called for peace globally.
The killing of the Lekki peaceful protesters have made a great impact in his heart as he sympathises.
He took to his Twitter account and wrote.
“Africa you are my inspiration, my identity, my family, my home!! That’s why I carry you on my back! I am devastated and heartbroken to see what’s going on in Nigeria, Congo, Ivory Coast, so many places. This continent deserves better – deserves justice!! You are not alone my brothers and sisters, the world is witness! I’m sending strength and love to everyone protesting and standing for peace – you do not stand alone ✊???#EndPoliceBrutality #PeaceFirst #Africa #endSARS”
The crises are still active in Nigeria as angry mobs are in no thought to retreat.
