The Nigerian songwriter and singer Wizkid who has proven his worth to a decent hierarchy have once more proven that he is the king of Afrobeat after his song “Essence” ft Tems debuts at 82 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

He becomes the first Nigerian to have soared the beauty of Afrobeat to such a level of musical goal marking his name as the third African to achieve such peak since the beginning of the African musical goals.

Essence featuring one of the Nigerian new face, Tems who have also proven that she is out for her game with a higher spirit is one of the hit track in Wizkid’s fourth studio album “Made In Lagos” labelled as the song of the summer.

It’s a song that describes feelings between true couples who are ready to let it slide through their genuine love upon each other.

Tems also has gained her first career Billboard recognition after the iconic qualities she deployed on the song “Essense”.
