Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has staked Chelsea football club for sale in a whopping amount of €4 billion per multiple reports.
This was sparked by his relationship with Putin; the Russian president who invaded Ukraine over his aim to prevent possible dethronement from the American authority.
The world however is not pleased with his approach following how he has bombed and wasted many lives in Ukraine since he started his invasion.
England authorities have informed the owner of Chelsea football club over a possible sanction that would prevent him from owning Chelsea and also selling it.
This has thrust his recent decision to sell Chelsea with an immediate effect. Several sources have announced publicly that the Russian multi Billionaire has put the club he has developed since 2003 for sale in a whopping amount of €4 billion per multiple sources.
He also took to his social media handles and released his statement on the saga which transcribed passion. According to him, he outlined that he has never owned Chelsea for a business or profit purpose and would give out the money he earned from any bidder to the victims of the Russian Ukraine Invasion.
The statement reads:
“It pains me to part with the Club in this manner. However, I do believe this is in the best interest of the Club”
“I hope that I will be able to visit Stamford Bridge one last time to say goodbye to all of you”
“I will not be asking for any loans to be repaid. This has never been about business for me, but about pure passion for the game and Club”
“I have instructed my team to set up a charitable foundation for the benefit of all victims of the war in Ukraine”
There are already interested bidders who have been negotiating with him. This has caused massive chaos on social media.
He is set to wretch his investment in the UK following the sudden Russian invasion of Ukraine and the possible sanction the UK government may issue to him over his relationship with Russian President Putin.
