Nigerian superstar Davido recently announced his ‘A Better Time’ album, which is the sequel to his 2019 chart-topping phenom ‘A Good Time’. And the album is shaping up rather nicely, based on the collaborations he’s announced off the album so far.
Davido initially shocked all and sundry when he revealed he had landed American hip-hop star and multiple award-winning artiste Nicki Minaj, as a guest star on the album.
The news was greeted with jubilation among his dedicated fanbase, but there was more good news to come. Davido later announced that after Nicki Minaj, his 2nd massive collaboration was with Tiwa Savage, who is arguably Nigeria’s most decorated female star of the moment.
He’s now followed that up by announcing Mugeez as his third collaborator, another likely intended to appeal to his Ghanaian fanbase.
Davido took to Twitter Wednesday night to announce the new collabo with Mugeez. “Who’s ready for that OBO X Mugeez!” he tweeted.

Mugeez is one of Ghana’s premier male singers, one-half of the award-winning duo R2Bees.
We can only imagine how lit Davido and him together on a tune is going to be!
‘A Better Time’ is really shaping up quite well, and we can’t wait to hear the album!
