Popular Nigerian cleric, Pastor Evang. Gospel Agochukwu has heavily cautioned His congregants to increase the view of their 10% tithes following the awful nature of the Nigerian economy.
In reality, it’s no longer a shameful approach and temperament for Nigerian clerics to demand tithes from their congregants so as to meet up with their luxurious lifestyles.
This has even expanded to extent that the likes of Agochukwu have urged his congregants to up their tithe worth, if possible; increase it from the actual 10% of their income.
Via his social media page, he wrote:
“ECONOMY IS BAD, EVERYTHING HAS GONE UP. STOP GIVING GOD 10%”
Nigerians couldn’t hold their nerves and heavily slammed him for making such a demand.
