Nigerian singer Burna Boy has taken to his Micro-blogging platform X to mock South Africans over the view of the newly crowned Miss South Africa, Mia Le Roux.
Vanessa Onwe Adetshina who competed in Miss South Africa 2024, was pressured to drop off after experiencing bullies and threats from South Africans who deployed xenophobic approach to her Nigerian race. They believe she is not supposed to participate in the concept since she is not biologically South African.
In the other phase, Vennessa dropped out to save the lives of her family as more threats flew in.
However, after what seemed to be a toll of concept, a caucacian emerged as the winner of the show.
Reacting to this, Nigerians including Burna Boy reacted to the hypocritical view of the show, slamming South Africans.
Reposting the photograph of Mia Le Roux Burna Boy captioned:
“So after all that?”
As argument swerved heated, South Africans defended while parading that Mia Le Roux is biologically a South African, which seem odd to Nigerians who continued to engage in heated reactions on X.
Burna Boy’s South African controversy kicked in after he developed a heated fued with their top artist AKA. It spanned to the peak where the two publicised their fued and carried on with until AKA’s death.
