Pile are divided into two categories namely:

External Hemorrhoid

This occurs as a swollen vein in the skin around your anus. This is likely complicated and dishes symptoms like:

• Pain or complications

• Itching or irritation around your anal region.

• Swelling around the anus which may even emerge to a size that would engulf your anus and cause complicated defecation.

• Bleeding.

Internal Hemorrhoids

These are swollen veins below the rectum. This type is usually not seen or felt because they are internal haemorrhoids that cause discomforts and symptoms like:

• Painless bleeding which may be seen as a drop of blood in the faeces while defecating.

• Piles pushed down nearer to the anus due to defecation which may cause severe pain and bleeding.

And finally, the minor category is labelled as thrombosed haemorrhoids. This occurs when the blood pools from the external haemorrhoids turn out to form clots which are also known as thrombus.

As a victim of Piles, you may have fallen a victim to these different categories which have staked your sentiment in a fright. There’s nothing to worry about. According to researches and from the commends of the medical teams, Pile is likely complicated but are not dangerous_ they can only pain and cause discomfort but doesn’t kill the victim. Note: you should relent in such discomfort.

Here are the causes

In general language, Pile is caused by quantum pressure in the veins around the rectum and the anus. Most times, the activities we enrol ourselves in and the food we consume result in these piles which we may not know.

These activities are;

Having anal intercourse 

Popular anal intercourse which is mostly practised by gays is one of the key factors which cause pile amidst the pressure the vein around the rectum and anus receive during anal intercourse.

So far pile are caused by a pressurised vein, anal intercourse is pretty much dangerous and should be avoided.

Sitting in the same position for a long period

This likely causes piles because there is a lot of pressure applied in the veins of the anus and rectum while you seat. In a situation whereby you are seated in the same position for a long time, it may cause a Pile.

Being Obese

Obesity can help add more pressure to the anus and rectum. This can also affect the veins which may lead to piles.

Being Pregnant 

Mostly, Pregnant ladies are the dominating victims of piles following the pressure, space occupied and weight their unborn child supply to their rectum and Anus. This has caused 70% of the world pile victims.

Regular stress (Body lifting) 

Lifting Heavy loads regularly and regular stress also results in enormous pressure around the anus and rectum. This also causes piles.

Not consuming enough fibre 

Foods that are enriched in Fibre are generally known for curing and preventing piles. A victim of the dearth of fibre consumption is always suffering from piles.

As we get old every single day, we are likely exposed to getting piles following the nature of the body cells_ the supporting tissues of the veins in the Anus and Rectum can weaken and stretch which causes piles.

• Avoid junk foods

• Eat more foods enriched with fibres

• Avoid lifting heavy loads

• Avoid having anal intercourse

• Eat more bitter fruits or foods

• Avoid long period of sitting

• Give your children at least two years each

• Don’t hold your breath while you defecate because it creates pressure in the lower rectum.
