The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari has revealed that he was so disgusted seeing the review CNN gave over the Lekki Massacre.
Recall that on this 20 October 2020, innocent citizens were shot brutally by alleged soldiers who have so far denied the allegation that they shot the citizens. Each Nigerian government officials also denied the claim they killed the citizen.
From the victim’s utterances, we have also discovered that the soldiers are behind this massacre which got the whole citizens aggrieved.
According to the president, he recalled the massacre and blasted CNN for their review says it’s fake.
He took to his Twitter and tweeted.
“It must be said that foreign press coverage of the END SARS violence was not balanced, especially from CNN and BBC. I was disgusted by the coverage, which did not give attention to the policemen that were killed, the stations that were burnt, and prisons that were opened.”
