Liya

Abdulsalam Suliyat Modasola who is professionally known by her stage name Liya is a Nigerian Afrobeat singer, songwriter and poet. She hails from Osun state and was born in 1999 in Lagos where she also grew up.

Liya had her primary and secondary school education in Lagos, Nigeria. She studied Linguistics at the University of Ilorin to continue her education.

Liya, a gifted musical artist, was recently introduced as Davido’s new and first female musician signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), making her the label’s First Lady, via his social media platforms.

Liya has an amazing track “Be My Vibe” that she dropped just before signing with the label and making the public announcement. Vanzy Vanz is her manager.
