The American Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, Rihanna has revealed that she is an indigen of the Igbo tribe in her recent interview.
The singer who was recently announced a Billionaire after gaining over $1.4 billion from her beauty fenzy firm claimed that her mother once told her that she hails from the Igbo tribe, a southern part of Nigeria labelled as Biafrans.

In her words, she said:
“My mom told me that I am originally an Igbo woman. Igbo is a tribe in Africa.”
This sparked debate online as Nigerians flooded the whole social media platforms declaring that Rihanna is a Nigerian.
