Catholic Cardinal John Onaiyekan has trashed the image of the Nigerian citizens and announced that Nigerians don’t take actions but sits down and complain.
The situation of Nigeria keeps getting awful following how many of her Leaders embezzle money via their various selfish interest.
However, the Catholic Cardinal John believes that Nigerians are the reason behind their problem because they don’t challenge the leaders. He added that they can never see a better Nigeria if they don’t challenge the government.

In his words, he said:
“Nigerians have gotten used to just sitting and complaining about everything. They complain about government and politicians, but they do not take their role of citizen participation seriously.”
“The leaders are happy about this and take full advantage of the docile nature of most Nigerians.”
He also urged the Nigerian leaders to remember the oath they took while swearing to their God that they will listen and serve the people.
