Nigerians react to Buhari’s new wife and wonder the whereabouts of Aisha

This morning, Nigerians woke up to ‘unconfirmed’ reports that President Buhari will be taking a new wife on Friday, October 11th.

According to the media reports, ‘President Buhari will be getting married in a very quiet ceremony to Sadia Umar Farouq, the current Minister for Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management tomorrow and will confirm the suspicions of concerned Nigerians over the whereabouts of Aisha Buhari’.

Back in September 2019, several media outlets reported on the continued absence of the current First Lady, Aisha Buhari who has been totally incommunicado since her trip to the UK. She was said to have left the country in protest against “certain developments” at the presidency.

While the Presidency is yet to comment on the developing story, newsmen reached out to Bashir Ahmad, the president’s personal assistant on new media, for comments, but he didn’t respond to our calls as at the time of this report.

Nigerians are however having a field day with the gist on social media.
