Report broke out earlier yesterday night that the Nigerian songwriter and singer has been arrested alongside Tems in Uganda.
Panic arose as the Nigerian music lovers felt haunted over the arrest and discovered that the two stars were arrested by the Ugandan police over an alleged violation of the Covid-19 rules.
According to Police mouthpiece attached to Kampala Metropolitan area, Luke Owoysigyire. He announced via his twitter account claiming he has arrested Omah Lay, Tems and their manager. He poured out his feeling saying.
“Nigerian Artist Omah lay has been arrested by Katwe police, the manager of the venue, Dungu Ivan and the Events manager, Prim Kasana are also in custody. More details to follow.”
This even sparked a fire on Twitter as Nigerian threatened Ugandan force officials not to harm their artists so to avoid their wrath.
However, the Nigerian music lovers worried about the singer’s condition which caught his attention. He took to his twitter and announced his feeling saying.
“Yes I’m with the Ugandan police… something about the show from last night. Everything would be fine…”
