Raheem Sterling Chelsea‘s debut didn’t come as planned following their shocking defeat to an unknown American club better known as Charlotte FC.

The first half entertained Chelsea fans amid their conventional ball possession and domination. Enormous changes were created by Chelsea midfielders but it wasn’t quite converted until a deflected shot fired by Mitchy Batshuayi gave Christian Pulisic the chance to bury the ball at the back of the net.

The second half also displayed the same view of the play that involved a lack of vision and precision from Chelsea finishers. This gave the underdogs the room to equalise the game in injury time.

It led to a penalty shoot-out which fell in the favour of the underdogs after Conor Gallagher missed from the spot. Charlotte FC players all converted their chances in style defeating the champions of Europe.

Despite that it was just tagged a friendly match, Chelsea’s head coach wasn’t thrilled with his players’ performance.

Several sources disclosed that Chelsea’s new signing, Raheem Sterling was the only player involved in the game the coach applauded. He heavily berated other players for their awful work rates.

Thomas Tuchel however has shown his interest in keeping Chelsea’s promising striker, Broja who is keen to exit the club because of a possible playing time as reported by multiple sources.

The shocking exit of Romelu Lukaku has quite left the striking force of the club weak and the space; empty after the Belgian had betrayed them.
