Simi Biography (Wikipedia)
Simisola Kosoko, who is popularly known by her stage name Simi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She started her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album in 2008, titled Ogaju.
Her Gospel genre didn’t likely pave the way. Via the awful image of nature, she swerved to the Afrobeat genre and strived for her peak.
She found her peak after collaborating with the Nigerian Rapper Falz on the song “Tiff” which got nominated in several annual music awards including the Headies award.
This boosted the confidence of the Nigerian singer born on 19th April 1988. She further deployed enormous numbers of hit songs that even reshaped her singing qualities.
Today, Simi is recognised as one of the best vocalists in Nigeria via the beauty of her voice. She is currently married to the Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold whom she has gifted an adorable daughter.
