Supernova was born on February 23, 1999. Born and raised in Lagos state Nigeria she is a native of Ezza Ohaukwu local government in Nigeria. An actress and CEO supernova music worldwide, Supernova kicked off her music career by starting her own record label in 2019, and in 2020 she dropped her first single which made waves on social media being the first artist in Nigeria to drop five singles in one day. Her song Bounce a reggae Dancehall track became an internet sensation because of her choice of video which was the first and one of a kind to be ever produced in Nigeria because the song featured gay flags and symbols, the song was reposted by more than 10 top bloggers and news channel in Nigeria and it caused quite a stair in the country.
When asked the reason for her choice of video despite her being straight her reply was “ let us all celebrate humanity, nobody deserves to be discriminated against because of their sexual orientation” from that day on this defined her personality to the audience as a unique personality, activist and visionary and not just another musician. Her other four songs like Key a hip hop track, Holyshit a reggae dancehall track, Hustle an afrobeat track and Moon R&B tracks were released to get her music audience and listeners familiar with her musical diversity. In May 2020 she released yet another single titled Badder Than You another hip-hop and reggae fusion which made waves. She is yet to drop her first album which she had promised her fans will be coming this 2020.
