Tekashi 6ix9ine Transferred To New Federal Facility

NEW YORK Reports of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s discharge from prison yesterday Thanksgiving Thursday (November 22) have already been confirmed to be both accurate and misleading.

TMZ has learned that the human Hip Hop hot button has indeed been taken off the notoriously violent Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center where he faces a “gang” of charges – nonetheless it was just a transfer to federal facility renown for inmates who cut deals to cut prison time as a result.

Lance Lazzaro, 6ix9ine’s lawyer, tells TMZ that the transfer was because of “security reasons,” for his controversial client had been threatened by gang members inside the MDC, as he spent Wednesday night in general population.

The 22-year-old 6ix9ine born Daniel Hernandez reportedly also asked to specifically be moved to a unit away from both Crips and the Bloods the latter being the gang he’s recognized with through a handful of songs and interviews.

On a related note, Lazzaro not merely told The Blast his client was innocent due to the course, he maintains that 6ix9ine’s tough guy image is only for his music career.

“Daniel Hernandez is completely innocent of all charges being brought against him,” he said before clarifying that the rainbow color-haired rapper is “an entertainer who portrays a “gangster image.” Says Lazzaro.

Lazzaro also declined to touch upon whether or not 6ix9ine was in the process of cutting a deal on the additional defendants in the racketeering case that holds a potential life imprisonment sentence.
