American popular actor, Will Smith has been finally penalised by the Academy Award authorities for slapping his colleague, Chris Rock.
In the recent saga, Will Smith stormed the stage and heavily slapped Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife, Jada’s hair loss and further shunned him to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.

He however apologised for his misfortune and blamed love for his action which amazed a massive number of people.
He would go on and resigned from the Academy Awards but this didn’t stop the show organisers from penalising him.
He has been issued a 10-year ban from the Academy Awards. The father of two however accepted the penalty.
