Hollywood actor and social media influencer, Will Smith has publicly declared his resignation from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
This came after he dramatically slapped colleague, Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife’s hair loss.

In the recent saga, Will Smith astonishingly stormed the stage off from his comfort when Chris Rock made a joke about his Wife’s hair loss and heavily slapped him.
Despite apologising for defending his wife, he has resigned from the Academy Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
He revealed this via a composed statement he shared via his social media handle.
