Bandits demand over 200 million ransom for the release of the abducted majors

Major Stephen Dantong from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) abductors in Afaka in Kaduna State, has demanded a 200 million ransom for his release.

It was believed that the suspected bandits stormed the Nigerian defence and lunched an attack to their targets overnight, killed and abducted at least two majors.

One of the kidnapped officers is Major Datong, while Lieutenant Commander Wulah and Flight Lieutenant CM Okoronkwo were shot dead.

Amidst the nature of their goals, they have demanded over 200 million ransom for the release of the abducted majors.

“They couldn’t kill even one of them. They searched everywhere in the bush but couldn’t find them. They had fled away with their motorbikes.”

“They have called to ask for N200million to free the Major,. the attack was ridiculous. They came, teased us and left. Even the helicopter hovering in the bush could not track them,” an NDA source told FIJ.

The federal government is yet to react to the saga as Nigerians react massively over the tragedy via all the social media platforms.
