Chelsea football club has climbed to the first spot of the 2021/2022 Premier League table after defeating Southampton in a comfortable 3-1 victory.
Chelsea dominated the first half with a classy performance providing enough impacts. Trevor Chalobah opened the match goal tally with a beautiful header assisted by Loftus Cheek.

However, two goals were ruled out of Chelsea’s favour after Lukaku and Werner fired in a goal termed offside and a destructive foul play from Azpliqueta.
In the second half, Southampton dominated the early minutes which led to a penalty gifted to the Red side by Ben Chilwell who brutally fouled his opponent.
England midfielder Ward Prowse converted the penalty to a beautiful goal which boosted Chelsea’s confidence as they fourth for the winning goal.
Chelsea was favoured after Ward Prowse recklessly fouled Jorginho and bagged a red card leaving Southampton to 10 men.
Chelsea took this favour and brutally smashed Southampton in a 3-1 victory with goals that came from Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell.
They are seated at the top of the table with a 1 point difference from Liverpool and Manchester City.
