Former Nigerian Boxer punches wife into a coma over Remote Control

A former Nigerian boxer identified as Moses has reportedly punched his wife into a coma over a heated domestic argument.

According to the Punch, Moses aggressively punched his wife, Tinuke at their residence in the Oke-Aro Community in Akure, the capital of Ondo State over a remote control.

Moses had returned home after a long day in his vocation as a truck driver. He wanted to watch a programme but his wife was already watching her favourite series on the TV.

Moses made advances to change the TV channel to his preferred program but Tinuke refused sparking his anger. He punched her severally to the extent that she fell unconscious.

The wail of their children attracted their neighbours who rushed Tinuke to the hospital where she was attended to.

The Nigerian police department has launched an investigation into the saga which may result in another view of justice.
