Having a Grammy nomination is huge for any artiste all over the world and the prospect of winning one is that in which every musician would relish.

Many African have etched their names on the top prize, and the likes of Angelique Kidjo have consistently scooped the award on numerous occasions making herself a legend in the music industry and having a huge recognition over the years.

Many Nigerian artists haven’t gotten nominated with few of them racking awards in fairly large scale,- Davido, D’banj and recently Falz getting one for the best performing act of 2016.

With collaborations with international like stars Wizkid, Drake, Rihanna, and the likes, has ensured that the Ayo crooner already cemented his place at the top echelon of world music and as stated earlier, Burnaboy needs to give us continuous years of hits.

Many would still believe that comparing Burnaboy with Starboy is a troll on Wizkid considering how Wizkid had successfully rubbed shoulders with the best of the best in the industry. And many still believe that Davido is the only rightful singer to ever get compared to the Starboy himself, the competition between these guys Wizkid and Davido is ever glaring as fans and loyalists of these guys are always seen eulogizing and adoring their greatness in the industry.

Davido tweeted a few weeks ago showing himself and Wizkid on the post with the caption Greatest of all time allowed their fans to shower so much of encomium, and fans were quick to flaunt every of the pair’s achievements.

If Burnaboy stands any chance of being compared to Wizkid, many music lovers have repeatedly urged and advised him to keep making good songs, especially when his attitude and his outbursts on fellow artists are becoming too much for music lovers all over the country to swallow.

Burnaboy would forever be honored to get a mention in the same conversation having Wizkid, but deep down in his music-filled mind, he would envy and dream of Wizzy’s achievement and he’ll forever be glad to get vocal support from the Number one Star Boy
