UCL: Real Madrid trash Chelsea in a 3-1 victory at the Bridge

The UCL quarter Final first leg between Real Madrid and Chelsea emerged to be one of the most astonishing games of all following Karim Benzema’s hat trick at the bridge.

The match began with a 50-50 approach from both teams as they battled for their peaks.

The slightest chances missed by Chelsea forwards in the first half cost them as the French beast, Karim Benzema converted two beautiful wide headers created by Vinicius Jr and Modric.

Chelsea fought back and was boosted by the German, Kai Havertz’s silky header that was set up by Jorginho.

In the second half, The Senegalese goalkeeper Mendy surprisingly gave away the ball just after he chested it and was buried at the back of the net by Karim Benzema.

This cost the pride of London and they were aggressively punished by the white Angels. They fought hard but were denied goals by their forwards.

Karim Benzema became the only player in the history of football to bang a hattrick at the London side home in the UCL campaign.

Chelsea will be looking forward to striking a comeback drama in Madrid next week.
