Nigerian singer and multi-award-winning maestro, Burna Boy has been a pinnacle of trolls following his recent utterance on the image of Afrobeat.
During a heated interview with Apple Music, Burna Boy disappointed aspiring Nigerians with what seemed to be a disaster approach to the Afrobeat genre.

He publicly shaded Afrobeat and further outlined that it preaches nothing and has no substance since most artists who embody the genre are not engulfed with the view of mortality.
He added that most artists in Nigeria are all about the fun and fiesta ignoring the reality of life which he often refers to a meaningful genre of music.
He finalised that it’s quite outgrowing for some Nigerian Afrobeat stars to be considerable when making fun music so far life is not all about fun.
Some Nigerians were not pleased with his view and heavily lambasted him for demeaning Afrobeat.
