Akwa Ibom Police Command has detained Gabriel Epkiri for allegedly selling off his 4 months kid for a poor tally of 400k.
According to several sources, the desperate convict was eager to deter from penury which thrust him to portray the barbaric action on his biological son.

As disclosed by the PPRO, the currently apprehended convict who is a native of Ekit Itam Akpan Obong, in Itu LGA blamed everything on the devil and Poverty.
Police stated:
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Olatoye Durosinmi has condemned the action, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable, the PPRO informed.”
“The Commissioner of Police has condemned the action of one Gabriel Okon Ekpiri of Ekit Itam Akpan Obong in Itu Local Government Area who sold his nine-year-old son for N400,000.”
