Euro2020: Spain defeats Switzerland in a penalty shootout

A wild game between Spain and Switzerland ended in a 3-1 penalty shootout after they battled for a 1-1 draw game in 90 minutes.
Spain dominated the game after Zakaria favoured them with an own goal in the 8th minute which was equalised by the Liverpool star, Shaqiri.

They put through an entertaining game following how Spain deployed pressure on Switzerland who succumbed to the pressure and earned a red card.
Freuler was sent off in the 77th minute providing optimism for Spain to boost their game. They dominated the game but couldn’t break through Switzerland defence which thrust a penalty shootout.
The penalty shootout ended in a 3-1 victory and Spain earned their spot in the semi Final of Euro 2020.
