President Buhari mourns the death of the Nigerian singer, Sound Sultan in a heartfelt tribute

The Nigerian President, Mohammadu Buhari has provided a heart full tribute to the popular Nigerian musician, Sound Sultan who deceased on 11th July 2021.

Sound Sultan who is known poorly as Olanrewaju Ganiu Fasasi died from severe throat cancer on Sunday which left his fans and Nigerians as well in Agony.

The president of Nigeria also deployed his sympathy labelling him as a man of good temperaments.

In a statement on Monday by Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, he mourned the 44-year-old singer respectively to his feelings consoling the family of the deceased.

“As an avid basketball fan, he made telling contributions to the development of local basketball in the country” he vowed. 

He also divulged that the singer lived an extraordinary life to achieve a peak every single Nigerian citizen’s dream to attain.

Concluding his condolences, he urged his family to move on with life and tagged the late Sultan as an inspiration to the young talents out there.

Nigerians were however pissed with his claim and lambasted him via his social media platforms urging him to face his governance.
