“We humbly ask that you respect our privacy” Nigerian Comedian, Basketmouth ends marriage with wife

Nigerian veteran comedian, Basketmouth has officially announced the marital dissolution of his long-term marriage with his wife, Elsie.

The comic and Nollywood icon announced the sad news via his Instagram handle where he detailed that they have wrapped up their beautiful union for an undisclosed reason.

He pleaded with the public mass to respect their privacy and finalised that they will still work together despite the current view of their divorce saga.

His words:

“As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation.”

“After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.”

“As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.”

“We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you”
