Super Falcon has clinched Africa’s first victory in the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup after comfortably beating Co-Host country Australia in a 3-2 display.

Australia slightly bounced back at the 90+10 minute of the game after A. Kennedy forced in a cancellation goal for the host country which wasn’t enough to boost their stay in the heated group.

Having gone unbeaten since the core of the 2023 FIFA WWC quest, the Super Falcon had climbed to the first spot of Group B as they eye the knockout phase.
