65th Grammy Nominations: Afrobeat Giant, Burna Boy bags two major nominations

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy has bagged another Grammy Annual Award nomination for the 4th consecutive time in 4 years.

The music award organisation announced their 65th annual award nomination on Tuesday 15th November 2022 where the singer bagged two major nominations.

He was nominated in the category of Best Global Music Album which he bagged with his latest album ‘Love Damini’.

This also stretched to another category where he bagged a nomination for Best Global Music Performance with his hit song ‘Last Last’.

Burna Boy remains the only Nigerian Afrobeat gem to bag nominations in the Grammy Annual Music Awards for the 4th consecutive time in 4 years. If he clinches the award on 5th February 2023, he will emerge as the Nigerian highest-holding Grammy Award plagues.
