Davido heats up the O2 Arena after selling out for the second time; Adekunle Gold, Ckay and others turns it up for him

David Adeleke; a Nigerian Afrobeat beast who is known popularly as Davido on 5th March 2022 made history with his thrilling 02 Arena concert that emerged to be a buoyancy.

This made it the second time, he shut down the O2 Arena with his energetic performance that went down to be a memorable one.

After selling out the show, Davido on 5th March 2022 kicked off his energetic concert in style.

One of his DMW crew, Isreal DMW opened the show with strange incantations and hypes that corresponded with the beauty of the African culture. He was seen describing the elegance of Davido and how far he has helped him.

The O2 Arena Attendants experienced an Iconic stage entrance from Davido. His sexy dancers stormed the stage and snatched all the possible attention with their dance moves that further prompted a fidgeting entrance from Davido. The dancers were able to attract the throng’s attention which gave Davido the time to portray an astonishing stage entrance.

The ‘Fem’ crooner with no hesitation thrilled his fans with his throwback hit songs before venturing into the new phase. The likes of ‘Gobe’ ‘Dami Duro’ and ‘Ekuro’  turned it up for him.

A Look at the status of the superstars that turned it up at Davido’s second successful O2 Arena concert

The multiple major music award-winning maestro, Davido was quite outstanding with his performance at the O2 Arena on 5th March 2022 but was however juiced by a massive number of world-class top-notch thrilling stars who dominated the show with their qualities.

Ranging from the likes of Ckay to Adekunle Gold, big names from across the globe thrilled the massive crowd that engulfed the O2 Arena space with their performance.

Adekunle Gold

The Nigerian songwriter and singer who is popularly known as Adekunle Gold and sometimes recognised as AG Baby during Davido’s second successful Afrobeat O2 Arena concert emerged to be the most heated star following how he pulled the massive throng with his hit song ‘High’ featuring Davido.

The Nigerian singer rose to fame after deploying enough musical qualities on his song ‘Sade’ that earned a place in over 90% hearts of Nigerian Afrobeat enthusiasts. His passion for music is extremely genuine. There is no single doubt that he is currently recognised as one of the most-streamed Afrobeat stars in Nigeria following how he began his music quest from his childhood.

The ‘High’ crooner who was born to a royal family in Lagos idolised Nigerian Highlife king, Sunny Ade in his teens shortly after he had ditched the musical group he formed with his choir friends and went solo.

Sunny Ade’s influence inspired him and he went on to attract one of the iconic Nigerian rappers Olamide that offered him a whopping deal into his YBNL record label. He never hesitated to utilise his opportunity and released multiple songs that went down to dominate many charts and infused his status. He is no doubt the best in his genre.

One of the most decorated female Afrobeat stars, Teniola Apata who is known popularly as Teni almost collapsed the O2 Arena with her energy during the Davido O2 Arena concert. She turned up for Davido and performed her hit song ‘For you’ featuring Davido.

Teni struck the limelight after releasing a series of hit songs consistently after she was signed to Dr Dolor Entertainment’s record label where she found her peak.

Just like most of the Nigerian Afrobeat singers, Teni developed a passionate interest in music during her teens which further prompted the vast energy she deployed on her quest for her spotlight.  She gained it and became one of the most streamed female Afrobeat stars in Nigeria.

She further bagged multiple major music awards and has since then deployed an enormous number of hit songs to her image.

The fast-rising Nigerian music star, Pheelz emerged to be the second star that boosted the O2 Arena with his energy.  His song ‘Finesse’ pulled the crowd despite being released in a 2 days difference.

Pheelz is a new face in the singing forum of the Nigerian music firm having concurred the music production phase. He has just struck the limelight with his single termed the song of the year featuring the Nigerian singer, Buju.

He is no doubt the future of the Nigerian music firm following how he has bagged multiple fan bases with his debut song.  He will go down to represent the Afrobeat genre in the nearer future.

He is currently blowing up every single Afrobeat chart in Nigeria following the musical qualities he deployed on the song ‘Finesse’

Reekado Banks

The Mavin Record Label graduate who is known popularly as Reekado Banks also appeared as a host during Davido’s second successful Afrobeat O2 Arena concert and as usual nailed it with his performance.  He performed one of his hit songs ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe’.

The Nigerian singer who is known poorly as Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon was born into a music inclined family that mostly helped him achieve his peak.  Despite the status of his father who emerged to be a Pastor, Reekado Banks was not discouraged to pursue his musical goals.

From the support and guidance his elder brother deployed on him, Reekado banks were able to sign to Mavin Record Label in 2014 where he deployed most of his hit songs.

He gained a massive fan base and went solo in 2008 after his contract with Mavin Record Label expired. Shortly after finding his own Record Label his status even infused and he topped multiple music charts.

The street king with no doubt unleashed the street rhythm and energy which almost collapsed the O2 Arena amid how millions of people jammed with him as his hit songs banged to the loudspeakers.

Zlatan Ibile began his music quest early in his childhood when he was just 13 alongside his street friends who motivated his zeal to join in the race of Afrobeat peak which likely didn’t disappoint him.

Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael who dreamed to be a footballer found his peak in the genre of Afrobeat after winning the Airtel one mic sponsored talent show.  He went on and released his debut single and album all titled ‘Zanku’ that won him multiple music awards and even a rigid fan base.

Zlatan Ibile maintained his peak and emerged as one of the most-streamed Nigerian street kings in the forums of Afrobeat.

The young Nigerian songwriter and singer, Victony is in no doubt a new phase in the Nigerian music firm and this has best astonished Nigerians with how fast he broke into the top spot in the Nigerian Afrobeat space.

Victony as well as the other stars during Davido’s second successful O2 Arena show did show the qualities of his vocal alongside Mayorkun with their hit song ‘Holy Father’. He got the whole crowd singing the song words to words in his effect.

He was recognised by a vast number of Nigerian Afrobeat enthusiasts after involving and surviving a ghastly accident that nearly wretched his career. Tragically, the awful auto crash affected his walking ability but played a big role in his career.  Since such incident happened his life has totally changed.

He sits currently as one of the Nigerian best new music stars who is thriving the firm via their talents.

Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel who is known popularly as Mayorkun as expected turned it up at the O2 Arena for his former boss Davido.

Mayorkun was an unknown street independent struggling artist until Davido discovered him through youtube. He watched a viral video of him freestyling with his hit song ‘The Money’ and fell in love with him.

He had no choice and offered him a thrilling opportunity in his record label to prove himself. Mayorkun with no hesitation proved himself and deployed a massive number of hit songs to his status which delighted many fans. They streamed his songs and he became of the futures of the Nigerian music firm.

He is currently a solo artist after leaving his former record label, Davido music worldwide.

The ‘Alubarika’ crooner also emerged as one of the great Nigerian maestros that pulled off the crowd with his effect during Davido’s Afrobeat O2 Arena concert.

Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie who is better known by his stage name Patoranking was a local singer hooking with local artists on the street.  He however was favoured by the glory of the Nigerian singer, Timaya who flaunted him to the world.

He got attracted to a top Record Label who offered him a whopping deal which he accepted and dished out thrilling songs that earned him a massive fan base.

His hit song ‘Galio’ featuring Tiwa Savage infused his status and introduced him to the limelight. He maintained his peak in consistency and remained at the top spot.

The Jamaican music star who is known popularly as Popcaan thrilled the fans with his musical qualities just exactly as his fans present at the O2 Arena expected

He mixed up his hit songs and wrapped it up with the song ‘Risky’ one of Davido’s third studio album ‘A Good Time’ hit track. During the show, he labelled Davido as his brother and congratulated his success so far.

Andre Hugh Sutherland just like the other popular Jamaican stars, struggled before he found his peak in the world music charts. However, before his glory came to light, he signed to Vybz Kartel’s Gaza Music Empire where he released his hit song ‘Clarks’ that introduced him to the limelight. He maintained his peak and joined other record labels that issued him global recognition.

Popcaan currently is still topping many charts which have even infused his fan base.

One of the young prominent Nigerian stars, Skibii also spiced up the O2 Arena during Davido’s second Afrobeat concert.  He performed his song ‘Baddest Boy’ featuring Davido which pulled the crowd via his qualities.

He rose to fame shortly after being signed to the 5 Star record label where he released his debut song entitled by his name ‘Skiibii’ that earned him recognition.  He kept striving for fame to the extent that he even faked his own death in the process.

After what seemed to be a decade of quest of his legacy, Skiibii released ‘That’s how stars do’ featuring Teni and Falz. This song earned him an enormous fan base and boosted his confidence. This even thrust him to release more bangers including his latest hit song ‘Baddest Boy’ which is currently topping many music charts in Nigeria.

Chukwuka Ekweani who is professionally Known as Ckay as usual didn’t fail to excite a vast number of fans who were craving to see him perform at Davido’s second Afrobeat O2 Arena concert. As expected, he performed his hits songs that impressed the blissful throng.

Ckay’s musical quest was quite different from many other Nigerian music artists who are thriving the Nigerian music firm so far. His peak emerged at the dying point of his career and he became one of the biggest Nigerian music artists in just a blink of an eye.

Ckay was signed to the Chocolate City record Label after he had recorded an enormous number of thrilling songs which attracted the famous record label that offered him a vast opportunity.

Ckay recorded many songs but couldn’t emerge to the top until his song ‘Love Nwantiti’ featuring the Ghanaian maestro  Kemi Eugene and the Nigerian wonder kid, Joeboy infused his peak. He turned out rapidly to surpass the likes of Wizkid on Spotify. However, it laid more impact mostly on Tiktok where it went viral.

He maintained his quality and further released ‘Emiliana’ which has so far earned a place in the heart of Nigerian musical enthusiasts.

Lethabo Sebetso who is popularly known by his stage name, Focalistic also heated the show with energetic flow alongside Davido. He performed the likes of ‘Champion sound’ and ‘Ke star’.

The South African rapper who once dreamt to become a footballer switched his passion shortly after he found his peak in the genre of Afrobeat.  After gaining fame with several hit songs, he introduced the thrilling genre ‘Ampiano’ to the Nigerian music firm by collaborating with Davido on the song ‘Champion sound’ and ‘Ke star’.

Focalistic on 5th March became the first South African Afrobeat Musician that performed amid the O2 Arena’s throng.

The Ghanaian musical maestro Stoneboy also experienced the glory of his life after performing his hit song ‘Activate’ featuring Davido at the O2 Arena.

He is known in Ghana as one of the penury merchants’ roots who conquered poverty with their talent.

At the beginning of his career, he rapped at the hoods in Ghana before finding his peak.

Livingstone Etse Satekla favourably earned fame after deploying enough hit songs to the image of the Ghanaian music firm. This fetched him enormous major music awards, including the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards.

His relationship with Davido emerged after the two collaborated on the song ‘Activate’.

Yung Bleu

Jeremy Biddle who is popularly known as Yung Bleu was the only American artist that turned it up for David during his second successful O2 Arena Afrobeat concert. He performed his hit song ‘Back when we were young’ alongside Davido and cheered the whole Arena with his other recognised songs.

He rose to fame after his single ‘You are Mines and still’ surpassed many peaks on the Billboard charts. This came shortly after, Drake remixed it.

He is currently one of the intimate American friends of Davido. He proved such recently amidst how he flew him from USA to London so he can be able to attend his concert.

Riley Davies who is known popularly as ArrDee emerged to be the youngest UK rapper, he opportune to show his capabilities to the world packed in at the O2 Arena in his home town.

ArrDee who was born in Brighton England rose to fame after finding his peak in the rap genre.  He released several hit songs that earned him global recognition.

He is currently working on a song with Davido which will be released anytime soon.
