The African Giant and the Grammy Award-winning sensation, Burna Boy made history yesterday after headlining the opening ceremony of the 2023 UEFA Champions League.

Burna Boy alongside Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr girlfriend, Anitta opened the great campaign for the two clubs Giants, Manchester City and Inter Milan who battled for their peak.

This resulted in vast memories that left Nigerians in jubilation celebrating the peak their own has achieved so far.

The ‘Cloak and Dagger’ crooner performed the likes of his smashing hit songs ‘It’s Plenty’ and ‘Last Last’ thrilling the whole crowd who cheered him before the Brazilian maestro, Anitta took over.

A few minutes after Manchester City had clinched their First ever UCL title, Burna Boy was invited to join the likes of Thierry Henry and his co-pundits while they analysed the game.

The Nigerian singer who couldn’t contain his joy confessed his love for the legends and particularly identified Henry as his childhood hero.

While they discussed further, he was pushed to allow Henry access to the beauty of his expensive grill chains detailing to them how his late friend who is in the customised chains helped boost his career.

He further briefly performed for them orally and expressed that he never wanted Manchester City to clinch the UCL trophy because he is a Manchester United fan.
