“In 1989, we had spent all day without food” Aisha Yesufu remarks on her penury days

The Nigerian human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has remarked on her penury days which was professed awful and complicated.

She took to her Twitter handle with the claim that her father walked for 1 hour so to crave for food from his sister but couldn’t match his aspiration and they starved.

She also added that in 1989, they spent almost the whole day with no food on the table.

In her words, she said:

“Sometime in 1989, we had spent all day without food, my parents, myself and 5 siblings. My mum asked my Dad to go borrow money from his sister so we can buy some food item and feed that night. My Dad walked for about an hour to his sister’s and was unable to ask. He couldn’t!”
